This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, process, store, retrieve, disclose, transfer and protect your information, including personal and sensitive information that we may receive in due course of your usage of/interaction with our services or “Platform” (inclusive of OK2GO mobile application, website, offline interaction through mails, phone, in person, etc.).

The terms “user”, “you” and “your” refer to a Driver Captain, a Customer, a Vendor Partner or any other user of the OK2GO Platform and/or availing the “Services” (defined below).

The term “Services” refers to any services offered by OK2GO in accordance with the terms and conditions applicable to you (and available on the OK2GO Platform) whether on the OK2GO Platform or otherwise.

Please read this Policy before using the OK2GO Platform or submitting any Information to OK2GO. This Policy is a part of and incorporated within, and is to be read along with, the terms and conditions applicable to the users of the OK2GO App available on the OK2GO Platform.

Any collection, processing, retrieval, transfer, use, storage, disclosure and protection of your Information will be in accordance with this Policy and applicable laws including but not limited to Information Technology Act, 2000, and the rules framed thereunder (“Applicable Laws”). If you do not agree with the Policy, please do not use or access the OK2GO Platform.

1. User Acceptance

You hereby represent to OK2GO that:

  1. The Information you provide to OK2GO from time to time, is and will be authentic, correct, current and updated and you have all the rights, permissions and consents as may be required to provide such Information to OK2GO.

  2.  Your providing of the Information as well as OK2GO’s consequent storage, collection, usage, transfer, access, or processing of such Information will not be in violation of any agreement, Applicable Laws, charter documents, judgments, orders and decrees.

  3. If you disclose to us any Information relating to other people, you represent that you have the authority to do so and to permit us to use such Information in accordance with this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Personal Information

 When you use our platform, we may collect personal information such as your name, phone number, email address, location, and payment information. We collect this information when you create an account, use our services, or communicate with us.

2.2 Usage Information

We also collect information about how you use our platform, such as the type of device you are using, your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the platform. We collect this information through cookies and other tracking technologies.

3. Use of Information

3.1 Personal Information

 We may use your personal information to provide you with our services, communicate with you, and process your transactions. We may also use your personal information for marketing purposes, such as sending you promotional offers or newsletters, but we will always provide you with an opt-out option.

In the case of scheduled rides, payment details such as card or UPI data may be processed through our authorized payment gateway (e.g., Razorpay). For on-demand rides, payment is made directly to the driver, and only a nominal fee is debited by OK2GO from the driver partner’s in-app wallet. All such financial data is processed in accordance with applicable laws and secured by industry-standard encryption and compliance measures.

3.2 Usage Information

We prioritize transparency regarding the information we collect and how it’s used. For ride assignments, both for drivers and passengers, we collect precise location data, both in the foreground and background. Phone numbers are gathered for login purposes, ensuring smooth access to our app. On the passenger side, we collect basic information such as first and last name, essential for trip coordination with the assigned driver. On the driver side, we collect a comprehensive set of data including full name, phone number, vehicle number and type, driver’s license (DL), registration certificate (RC), and Aadhar information. This comprehensive data is essential for the rigorous vetting of our drivers, ensuring a secure and reliable service. It’s imperative to emphasize that all this data is held confidential and is not shared with any third-party organizations, subject to Clause 3, guaranteeing our users’ privacy and security.

4. Sharing of Information

4.1 Third-Party Service Providers

We may share your personal information with third-party service providers who help us provide our services, such as payment processors, customer support, and marketing services. We will ensure that these third-party service providers comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

4.2 Legal Compliance

We may share your personal information to comply with legal obligations, such as responding to a court order or subpoena, or to protect our legal rights.

4.3 Business Transactions

 In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business, we may transfer your personal information to the new owner or successor entity.

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. We use industry-standard encryption technologies and maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your information.
